Alia Bhatt reveals the name of her favourite cricketer

Bollywood and Cricket are the two different things which are inseparable in India.

From teenagers to senior citizens, cricket is the main course for any gossip or discourse. And the one favourite topic is “the favourite cricketer of a celebrity”.

Days after Bollywood actress Sunny Leonenamed MS Dhoni as her favourite, it is reported that Alia Bhatt too has a favourite cricketer.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Alia was quoted as saying, “I may not know the ‘B’ of bowling or batting, but I understand that if an India’s match is on, everyone has to sit in front of a television, not change the [seating] position [if the match is at a critical stage] and just keep cheering on. I didn’t follow the entire season of IPL but when Mumbai Indians won, I was really happy and felt great. So, I am the best cheerleader (smiles).”

At the same time, the diva also shared that Indian skipper Virat Kohli is her favourite and she also likes the batting of Shikhar Dhawan.

“I might not know a lot [about cricket] but I am not that clueless too. Virat is a favourite as he is the captain too. I guess we all love him. I also like Shikhar Dhawan,” Alia added.
